Our Story

Anupam Enterprises, popularly known through the Anupam Paints brand, was established in 1972.

Over more than five decades, the company has grown from a paint manufacturing enterprise into a diversified coatings manufacturer serving decorative, industrial, railway, marine, defence, infrastructure and specialty applications.

Anupam's growth has been built around manufacturing capability rather than simply distribution or branding.

The company today operates from its manufacturing facility at Ranihati, Howrah, West Bengal, and serves private industry, infrastructure companies, public-sector organisations, government departments, OEMs, applicators, contractors, dealers and residential customers across India.

The Anupam philosophy is straightforward: understand the asset, understand the operating environment, then engineer the coating system around the requirement.

This approach has allowed Anupam to develop products ranging from decorative emulsions and primers to zinc-rich corrosion-control systems, marine coatings, railway finishes, fire-protection coatings, potable-water linings, thermal-management coatings and other advanced technologies.

In our 50-year association with the paint industry, we have not merely manufactured paints; we have crafted stories. From Epoxy to Polyurethane, every product is a testament to our commitment to innovation, quality, and the art of transforming spaces. This dedication reflects in our long-standing partnerships with prestigious institutions like the Indian Navy and Indian Railways, which have placed their trust in us for over 35 years.

The Humble Beginning

The visionary Late Shri Kashi Prasad Kedia began a remarkable journey that turned a modest family garage into today's Anupam Paints.

1980s

The Evolution

Diversifying into paints, coatings, and varnishes, Anupam Paints quickly gained a reputation for quality and reliability. Industry giants took notice, leading to increased orders for Protective Coatings.

1990s

Prestigious Partnerships

Two significant endorsements from RDSO for Indian Railways and the Indian Navy solidified our reputation. This momentum resulted in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, partnerships with Engineers India Ltd., and innovative tech-transfers with DRDO.

2000s

A Pioneering Approach to R&D

We invested in our advanced state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with premium imported testing instruments, exemplifying our unwavering commitment to unmatched quality.

2020

A Milestone Year

The opening of our state-of-the-art semi-automatic facility in Howrah's Foundry Park, boasting a monthly capacity of 1000KL. We also enhanced our competitive edge by bringing resin production in-house.

2021

Embracing Decorative Paints

We ventured into decorative paints, catering to both residential and commercial sectors. Committed to beauty, protection, longevity, and sustainability, our green paints with zero VOC resonated with the modern consumer.
